  • Noisy Brakes:  If there are noises when you brake, you should pay attention. Noisy brakes are usually a sign your brake pads or linings are worn. Left too long this can lead to brake rotors requiring machining or full replacement. Best to check out any braking noises immediately.
  • Sticking Brake Pedal: If your brake pedal sticks when you depress it, quite possibly your master brake cylinder is faulty. I could be leaking fluid or just failed leading to total brake failure and an expensive repair bill. This requires checking as soon as possible for safety reasons.
  • Car Pulls To One Side When Braking: If your car pulls to one side when you apply the brakes it could be wheel alignment, tyre pressure or a  brake calliper that is causing the problem.
  • Steering or Vibration When Braking:  This can indicate brake drum or rotors are worn  and need attention or it could be steering mechanism or other loose part that needs to be looked at.
  • Brake Warning Light: If you have a brake warning light come on while driving it could be an indication that your brakes are about to fail completely. Get this checked immediately.
  • Spongy Brake Pedal: If you depress the brake pedal and it feels spongy and not as responsive as usual it could be moisture in the brake fluid. Moisture in your brake fluid can lead to corrosion of brake parts, which could lead to total brake failure.
  • Pulsating Brake Pedal:If your brake pedal pulsates when you apply pressure to the pedal, the disks or drums are out of alignment which could cause some serious problems in wet conditions. If you are in any doubt about the performance of your brake system, don’t take the risk, get an expert opinion immediately.
